The moment I laid eyes on it, I just knew this fabulous room had to be mine! We purchased the house without even seeing it because this amazing great room was beyond huge. The leather dueling sectionals that I designed added the perfect balance and symmetry I had been yearning for in such a spacious area. And let me tell you, the four-chair and loveseat combo in the front part of the great room practically screamed "let's cozy up with a good book or entertain our guests!"

I wasn't even deterred by the dull builder carpet - I'm actually planning to address that for all you new home buyers in my upcoming New Home Journey Series! Inside this magnificent room, I incorporated wood tones throughout and added patterned chairs for a touch of comfortable luxury. It was a labor of love that, once completed, effortlessly hosted parties of 50-75 people without any issues.

Let me tell you, one of my absolute favorite things about this great room has got to be the leather dueling sectionals. They bring so much joy to my design-centric heart! Not to mention, this layout has made it easier to referee when the kids start to bicker - the "get along shirt" is no longer needed, as they each have their designated spot on the sectionals!
